What’s the challenge?
Together TV is inviting everyone to join its Sunflower Challenge. Don’t worry if you’re new to gardening, we’ll be helping you grow the sunflower along the way with exclusive video content from The Instant Gardener Danny Clarke!
Please note: As of 26th May 2021, we are no longer able to distribute sunflower seeds to new registrants. You can still join the journey to enter into prize draws and learn how to grow a sunflower with Danny Clarke's top tips.

When you receive your sunflower seed kit, we will send you weekly tips via email and text about how to care and nurture your sunflower. These will follow the stages of growing a sunflower like germination, seedling, maintenance, indoor care, outdoor care, flowering and harvesting.
There will be online games and prizes along the way including opportunities for you to share your progress pictures - that may even end up on a billboard near you!

We have 400,000 seeds to give away, and we will distribute them on a first-come-first-served basis. When they're gone, they're gone! Our advice is to sign up fast.

No! We will send the free seeds to you for free. The exclusive content is also free to access and the prize draws throughout the 12-week journey will be free to enter.

Of course! The more the merrier. We understand not everyone has access to an outside space, and we designed this challenge with you in mind. All our tips will come with indoor care advice too, so you can grow a sunflower at home.

We will only be sending you a seed pack and a weekly calendar for you to hang on your fridge. We will offer advice on where to find any supplies you might need and often you can use things lying around the house. An empty tin is a great pot to sow your seed in (just make sure you make a drainage hole in it)!

Together TV wants you to grow a sunflower to boost your wellbeing, connect with your community and grow as gifts for your friends and family. We will be guiding first time gardeners every step of the way with weekly emails and even text reminders to water your sunflower. We want you and your sunflowers to grow this year.

Whilst we've got thousands of seeds, we have to limit it to one per person. However, if you want to compete with a household member, you can both sign up and cheer each other on.

Over the 12 weeks we will be helping you nurture your sunflower, and that includes checking whether it needs water. We found the best way to remind you is by text or Whatsapp. The messages we send will be free to receive.

If you received our email announcing that your seeds are on the way, please be aware that Royal Mail is still experiencing delays related to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is unfortunately beyond our control. We have been informed that it can take up to 14 days. If you still haven't received your seeds when you receive our email two weeks after we dispatched them, please click on the link and we will be notified immediately and will contact you regarding options.
