During the summer break, parents can take advantage of various places where their kids can eat for a lower price or even for free. Popular supermarket chains such as Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and well-known restaurant chains such as Bills, Bella Italia, and Yo! Sushi offers many affordable options.
To ensure that you get the best deals, read the terms and conditions of each offer carefully to ensure everything is understood. Additionally, it’s a good idea to confirm with the restaurant staff if the deal is still in effect before placing an order since ongoing deals may be cancelled at short notice.
Here’s a summary of the offers:
ASDA: Asda cafes offer a special deal where kids can eat for only £1 every day until the end of the year, and no adult purchase is necessary.
TESCO: Children can eat for free at Tesco cafes when an adult spends only 60p and scans their Clubcard. This offer is valid from July 24 to September 1 in England and Wales until August 11 in Scotland. For Northern Ireland residents, the offer is available until September 1.
SAINSBURY’S: At Sainsbury’s cafes, children can enjoy a complimentary meal when an adult buys a hot main meal costing £5.20 or more. This offer is valid until September 3, from 11:30 am. After this date, children can still eat at the cafe for £1.
MORRISONS: Children can enjoy complimentary meals daily if an adult buys a main course for £4.49 or above.
BEEFEATER / BREWERS FAYRE: One paying adult can bring two children under 16 for a complimentary breakfast daily during the summer holidays. An adult breakfast is available for £9.99 and is served until 10:30 am daily.
HUNGRY HORSE: On Mondays at Hungry Horse restaurants, two children can eat for only £1 when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
FARMHOUSE INN: At Farmhouse Inns, from July 24 to September 8, two children can enjoy a complimentary meal for every paying adult from Monday to Friday.
TRAVELODGE: At Travelodge, one adult can purchase a full-priced breakfast, and two children can enjoy their breakfast for free. Breakfast is served every weekday from 7 am to 10 am and on weekends and bank holidays from 8 am to 11 am.
PREMIER INN: If one adult buys a full breakfast, two children can have breakfast for free. Breakfast is offered every weekday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and on weekends and bank holidays from 7 am to 11 am.
SIZZLING PUBS: From Monday to Friday, between 3 pm and 7 pm, children can enjoy a meal for only £1 when an adult purchases a main dish.
IKEA: Kids can get a meal from 95p daily starting at 11 am. Note that this offer excludes IKEA Hammersmith and order and collection points.
GORDON RAMSEY RESTAURANTS: Selected Gordon Ramsay restaurants offer a free meal for kids under eight every day when accompanied by a paying adult. This promotion is available at Heddon Street Kitchen, all Bread Street Kitchen & Bars, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, Pizza East, and York & Albany.
BILLS: Two kids eat free all day from July 24 until September 1 when one adult orders any main dish. This offer excludes Saturdays and Sundays.
BELLA ITALIA: Kids eat for £1 with any adult main. The offer is valid from 4 pm until 6 pm, Monday to Thursday.
WHITBREAD INNS: For every adult breakfast purchased, two children under 16 can eat for free.
DUNELM: After 3 pm, for every £4 spent, children can receive one mini main, two snacks, and a drink for free at Dunelm Pausa Coffee shops.
YO! SUSHI: From July 17 to August 11, every £10 spent by adults entitles them to a free meal for their kids.
