Free English Heritage Family Day Pass (Worth £42) Updated on: 23/09/2025

English Heritage is giving away 40,000 free family passes, now available to claim online. Once requested, your pass will be emailed to you straight away – but be quick, as these won’t last long.

Each free family day pass is valid for a single visit to an English Heritage site between Tuesday, 23 September 2025, and Sunday, 2 November 2025. The pass covers entry for either two adults and up to three children, or one adult and up to four children. Adults are classed as over 18, while children are those aged 5–17. Under-5s already enjoy free admission, and single adults or couples may also use a pass.

To use your pass, present the barcode from the confirmation email upon arrival at your chosen site. Each pass can only be used once, and only one pass may be redeemed per visit. The pass grants entry only and does not include car parking or paid events.
