Free Entry to Hampton Court Palace Gardens

Love peaceful walks, historic landscapes and grand royal gardens? Hampton Court Palace Gardens will be opening their magnificent grounds to visitors completely free of charge on selected dates, with no tickets or pre-booking required.

This is an excellent opportunity to step back through centuries of history, explore sweeping avenues, and enjoy the calm beauty of one of Britain’s most celebrated royal gardens.

Visitors can wander through formal layouts created for kings and queens, admire seasonal planting, uncover quieter corners, and take in the expansive riverside setting at their own pace. From the beautifully restored Privy Garden to the more natural charm of the Wilderness, each area offers a distinct atmosphere and a rich sense of heritage.

Please note that free access applies only to the gardens. Entry to the Palace, the Maze and the Magic Garden still requires a valid ticket.
